UPP is a central quoting repository for telecom agents and service providers.
Using UPP, agents can create quotes easier and faster by instantly comparing
product offerings from multiple suppliers. UPP compares pricing obtained from
supplier APIs as well as pricing maintained by NDA. Currently, all the U.S. and
Canadian ILECs are supported as well as XO, Covad, Megapath and New Edge with
additional suppliers continuously being added on.
NDA has been working with Master Agencies and Carriers to incorporate pricing of
all carriers and products in UPP. There is no cost for carriers to include their
rates in UPP. Carriers with rates in UPP have control over the Agents that can obtain their quotes. NDA’s president, Baris Dortok, envisions
UPP as being "the sole provider of telecom pricing to the indirect sales channels

UPP is integrated to NDA’s Sell-n-Serve application for quote and order
management. Carriers and Resellers can incorporate their own costing and pricing
logic in Sell-n-Serve and obtain third party pricing through UPP. For more
