To handle different user privileges, AMS provides multiple levels of security as specified below:
- User-level security
- Customer-level security
- Application-level security
- Carrier-level security
User-level security: Only users with valid user IDs and passwords can access AMS, therefore giving you
control over system access. Users are identified as being regular users,
managers or administrators with different access privileges. Integration
with LDAP for user authentication is also available.
Customer-level security: Ensures that users only see the customers that have been assigned to them.
Application-level security: Allows
you to control the functionality that users have access to including the
ability to do ICB pricing and access to the Product Catalog.
Carrier-level security: Grants
user access to different sets of rates, for example wholesale versus
retail, or price versus cost.
