What is AMS?
AMS (Account Management System) is a powerful web-based application that facilitates pricing, quoting and ordering of all voice, data and IP telecommunication services. AMS can help you increase revenue and decrease costs by minimizing the time required to generate quotations, ensuring that the quotations created reflect your exact business rules and rates and decreasing the number of billing errors.

Integrated with the pricing functionality is the ability to create instant, professional proposals with service descriptions and corporate marketing messages. The workflow functionality helps to manage the sales process by automatically routing and keeping queues for requests for special pricing and discounting. AMS can automatically feed your ordering and provisioning systems upon proposal acceptance by your customer, therefore, eliminating the need to re-key information. The built-in reporting wizard gives you the ability to define your own report layout to retrieve information on sales activity and account information.

AMS' online Product Catalog allows non-technical users to update rate, POP and CLEC building information, create promotions and customer specific pricing without any programming.

What services are supported?
We support all voice, data, IP and CPE/Managed Services including DS0, DS1, DS3, OCn, Ethernet, Frame Relay, ATM, ISDN, Internet Services, IPVPN, DSL, Centrex, PBX, POTS and bundled products.

Can AMS do CPE quoting?
Yes. AMS can price out Customer Premise Equipment, packages, software, and Managed Services. Equipment information can be saved in the AMS database or directly accessed from an existing database. Within an equipment project, users can modify part discounts or gross margins. Configurator output files from Nortel and Cisco can also be uploaded into AMS for incorporation into a quote.

What are the integration capabilities of AMS?
AMS supports several integration methods including web services, batch processes and database adapters. We have integrated with our customers' ordering, provisioning and CRM systems, including Siebel, as well as many applications like MapMarker, ExchangeInfoPlus and MapPoint.

How does AMS address the issue of Local Number Portability?
AMS accepts address and CLLI inputs for locations. Its built in geocoding engine will map an address to the closest SWC. AMS can also integrate to other geocoding products used by your organization.

Users can enter the CLLI code of the SWC directly into AMS or AMS can provide the CLLI code to the user for an entered NPANXX.

Are you willing to do customization for carriers?
Yes, most of our customers request customization to meet their unique requirements. We are able to implement new rate structures, services and plans very quickly due to our highly flexible architecture and data import mechanisms. We can include your rates & POPs for services like Private Line and Frame Relay in a matter of days.
